The Gite

Part of a renovated barn dating back to the end of the 19^th Century, this is a spacious airy and calm gite for 2 people. You will find a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for your self-catering stay.

The gite also boasts a comfortable living room space opening up into a high mezzanine level with chestnut beams. There is a large king-sized bed to sleep away from all those tensions from everyday life. Your holiday begins here!

The Garden

The gite boasts a small but private garden where you can relax and take in the sun. There are slumber chairs and sun loungers as well as a dining area. For those of you who like a bit of shade, there is a quiet area for relaxing with a good book!

The garden has been carefully planted to provide you with privacy not isolation. We live on-site but the gardens are separate and we have our own access around the back.

The property is a stone barn converted to a charming residence. The bed is extremely comfortable, in fact, so comfortable you don’t want to get up in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped and many basics supplied with things like oil, foil, herbs etc. The garden has several sitting areas, so you can chase the sun or shade depending on the weather. Emma and Cath looked after us very well and made us feel at home and we really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

We are located in a small hamlet of 6 houses on the edge of town. A 20-minute stroll into Cussac where you can buy your fresh baguette each morning, have a coffee and watch the world go by.

There are lots of places to visit and activities available locally, from walking, to cycling, water-sports and horse-riding. Whatever your interests are, there is something for everyone!

Hello I’m Emma

I moved to Cussac at the beginning of 2017, having fallen in love with the area and the tranquillity synonymous with Limousin and began my French country living adventure. I just love it here, the dark starry nights that take your breath away and the sights and sounds of the countryside.

Since I started hosting my gite, I have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people from all over the world and look forward to meeting you!
